Saturday's College Games Betting: Clemson vs Georgia Tech

Clemson (4-0) is one of two schools that are still unbeaten in the ACC this season, as they head to Bobby Dodd Stadium on Saturday to face a Georgia Tech (2-2) squad that has lost their past two games.

The Tigers jumped out to a 17-7 lead after the first quarter last week, and never looked back in a convincing 42-20 win at North Carolina State. The Tigers racked up 608 total yards while holding the Wolfpack to 202 yards, and they also forced three North Carolina State turnovers.

James Davis and C.J. Spiller combined for 280 yards and two majors on the ground, and Cullen Harper was 25-for-39 for 268 yards and two touchdowns. This type of balance will serve the Tigers well, if Harper can continue that sort of form. The combination of Spiller and Davis should too much to handle in most games, but it is good to be able to throw teams off by having a solid passing game as well. The Yellow Jackets fell behind by two touchdowns at Virginia in Week 4, and their comeback bid fell just short in a 28-23 loss on the road. Taylor Bennett was 17-for-40 for 230 yards and a touchdown, but he also threw an interception which was run back for a score that would inevitably cost Georgia Tech the game. The Yellow Jackets forced three turnovers out of Virginia, but their offense did not play well enough to support them.

The No. 13 Tigers are 3-point favorites on the road this week, and should be well-positioned to cover this spread. The Georgia Tech defense should prove to be no match for the Clemson defense, which is out to prove they belong with the big boys of the NCAA. The Tigers have also won four of their past six meetings with Georgia Tech.
