Bet on the USC vs Washington Game - The Huskies don't stand a chance against the Trojan's offense.

The Trojans began conference play last week with a 47-14 win over Washington State as a 25-point favorite. USC showed off their strong rushing attack and their solid run defense, both of which rank among the best in the country. The Trojans rushed for 207 yards as a team, with Chauncey Washington leading the way with 84 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.

The Trojans' passing game was also impressive in the win, as Heisman candidate John David Booty completed 28-of-35 passes for 279 yards with four touchdowns and an interception. Fred Davis led all receivers with nine receptions for 124 yards with a pair of touchdowns. On defense USC limited the Cougars to only 64 rushing yards, dropping their season average to 64.3 rushing yards allowed per game. The Huskies have lost their last two games after falling to UCLA 44-31 as a 5-point underdog last week. The Washington offense looked sharp in the loss, but the Huskies' defense did not pull their weight. Quarterback Jake Locker completed 17-of-36 passes for 216 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions in the loss. Locker also led the Huskies in rushing, with 92 yards on 15 carries. Anthony Russo was Locker's main receiving target, with five receptions for 106 yards and two touchdowns.

The Huskies defense had trouble stopping UCLA all night, and ended up allowing 537 yards of total offense. That included giving up a huge 333 rushing yards, which does not bode well against the Trojans' strong running game.

The Trojans had a little more trouble than expected against the Huskies last year in a 26-20 win as a 19-point favorite. Washington hasn't had much luck against USC in quite awhile, with their last win over the Trojans coming way back in 2001. It looks like that streak is going to continue, as the Trojans are 20.5-point favorites in Saturday's game.
