NFL Odds: Tennessee Titans vs. Houston Texans

The Tennessee Titans might have lost more than just a football game last week when they were defeated 13-10 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a 2.5-point betting underdog. In the loss Titans quarterback Vince Young was sidelined by a quadriceps injury. That ailment kept Young out of practice for all but one series this week, and he'll likely be a game-time decision on Sunday. Before the sports injury cut his day short Young completed 11-of-14 pass attempts for 120 yards with an interception. His replacement, veteran Kerry Collins, threw for 125 yards on 10-of-20 passing with no touchdowns and no interceptions. Collins will get the start this week if Young is held out. The Titans' running game didn't have much success either last week, as LenDale White rushed for just 65 yards on 25 carries and scored once. The Houston Texans are coming off a lopsided 37-17 loss to Jacksonville as a 6.5-point betting underdog. Houston QB Matt Schaub had an uninspiring game while completing 19-of-31 pass attempts for 259 yards with an interception. Backup QB Sage Rosenfels took over for Schaub late in the game and completed 11-of-12 pass attempts for 82 yards and a touchdown. With top receiver Andre Johnson still sidelined by a knee injury Kevin Walter stepped up and led the Texans with 12 receptions for 160 yards in that game. Walter will likely have to do it again this week, as Johnson is expected to miss at least one more game.

Last season the Titans won both meetings with the Texans. In Tennessee the Titans defeated the Texans 28-22 as a 3-point betting favorite. Later in the season the Titans traveled to Houston and dropped the Texans 26-20 in a game that was listed as a pick'em. Even with Young's status in doubt the Titans are a 1.5-point road favorite in Sunday's game, get your NFL odds at our Online Sportsbook.
