College Football Odds: Boston College vs Clemson

Pole position for the Atlantic Division title is on the line at Memorial Stadium when No. 15 Clemson (8-2) hosts No. 18 Boston College

The Eagles lost for the second straight week, falling 42-35 at Maryland as they were hurt by a pair of interceptions from quarterback Matt Ryan. The Heisman trophy candidate was 33-for-56 for 421 yards and three touchdowns as well, but his turnovers came at crucial times and negated Boston College's chances for victory. The Eagles also failed to deal with Maryland's ground game, giving up 135 rushing yards. The Tigers won their fourth in a row with a 44-10 rout at home against Wake Forest, and Cullen Harper was the story. The quarterback went 27-for-35 for 266 yards and three touchdowns for the Tigers, who were patient and did not make any mistakes to allow Wake Forest back into the game. The Tigers were also 7-for-12 on third-down conversions.

The Tigers are 8.5-point home betting favorites in this ACC matchup, as they have the momentum going into this deciding game for the Atlantic Division crown. Boston College has had Clemson's number over the past couple of seasons, winning their last two meetings in overtime.

The Tigers will have to find a way to contain Ryan, and they also have to figure out how to solve the No. 2 rushing defense in the league, with their backfield combination of James Davis and C.J. Spiller. Whoever can run the ball - and eat up the clock - should find themselves with a spot in the ACC title game.
