College Football Betting - Texas A&M at Oklahoma

A game featuring two schools that are both ranked among the top 25 teams in rushing offense usually offers up a physical battle, and this Big 12 showdown should be no different on Saturday when No. 5 Oklahoma (7-1) hosts Texas A&M (6-3) at Memorial Stadium.

The Aggies are ninth in the nation on the ground, powered by the duo of quarterback Stephen McGee and huge running back Javorskie Lane, who is almost a sure bet to reach the end zone when the Aggies get inside the five-yard line. However, the Aggies will face their biggest test to date in the form of the Sooners'third-ranked rushing defense. The Sooners are no slouches on offense either, coming in at 25th on the ground and ranking second in the nation in points scored. Allen Patrick, Demarco Murray and Chris Brown lead a versatile rushing attack which is hard to defend against.

If the Sooners can stop, or at least contain, the Aggies'pounding rushing attack they should have no problem running up a big score against Texas A&M. The Sooners'offense also will be motivated to recover from a lackluster effort in a 17-7 win over Iowa State back on October 20.

The Sooners are big 21-point favorites at home this weekend, and this line no doubt factors in Oklahoma’s 10-2 all-time record at home against the Aggies.
