Does North Carolina State have any shot of hanging close with No. 2 Duke on Tuesday night?

Probably not.

Duke has won 10 straight at home versus N.C. State, outscoring the Wolfpack by an average of 18.2 points during that span. At Cameron this season, the Blue Devils are defeating opponents by an average margin of 25.0 points. Duke leads the all-time series135-96, including a 44-23 mark at Cameron Indoor Stadium. “They’re a tough group to match up against,” Krzyzewski said. “(With Ben McCauley and Brandon Costner) they have two nontraditional guys (in the post). It’s not what you normally defend and they can hurt you.”

So far this season N.C. State has faced just two ranked teams in Clemson and Davidson - losing both of those games. In road games the Pack has posted a record of 1-2.
